The solution eliminates the need for extra bridge chips, supports plug-and-play and hot swapping, and provides a complete USB ecosystem for audio/video transport, 4G network extension, external storage, and interactive peripherals. USB Intelligent Interconnect Solution
FANlun's USB solution provides two core architectures: a USB 2.0 OTG platform and a USB-Serial-JTAG platform. The OTG solution is based on ESP32-S2, ESP32-S3, and ESP32-P4 chips and supports both full-speed 12 Mbps and high-speed 480 Mbps operation, allowing flexible switching between host and device roles. In host mode, it supports four major application domains: UVC and UAC audio-video transport with up to 1080P at 60 FPS, 4G networking plus Wi-Fi sharing, external storage access up to 2 TB, and HID human-interface applications, all with hot-plug support and USB hub expansion. In device mode, it supports standard USB classes including UAC 2.0 audio, UVC video, MSC storage, HID input devices, and expansion displays, while also enabling hybrid wired and wireless transport through Wi-Fi. The USB-Serial-JTAG architecture, built on ESP32-C3, ESP32-S3, ESP32-C6, and related chips, provides dedicated USB device functionality without external bridge chips, increases firmware flashing speed by five times, and greatly simplifies JTAG debugging. The whole family is built on ESP-IDF, with complete drivers, sample code, LVGL GUI support, Matter interoperability, and end-to-end support from prototyping through mass production.
